JinSei is an Amsterdam based Lofi Hip Hop producer who loves putting all his creativity and passion into the production of his distinctive sound. Spreading good vibes and giving people a laid-back feeling are his mission and he accomplishes this by always trying out new melodies and playing around with different sounds. With putting a lot of joy and feeling into his music, he wants to touch as many people as possible. Apart from producing on his own, he also loves working together with other talented people from all around the world.

Because he feels the strongest connection to lofi hip hop, this is also the genre he focuses mainly on. JinSei has already released at FUNCC and Dust Collectors and is working hard for labels such as Effortless, Childcow and Etymology Records. If you listen to lofi hip hop, you have probably already heard his most popular tune Distune, that has over five million plays on Spotify, or his other big tracks like Obtain and Hurtz. Other famous lofi artists like Hoffybeats and Tibeauthetravler also believe in him and support him actively.

Everything started six years ago, when Joshua began making music because it helped him regain prosperity in his life. At first, he was just playing around with different sounds and made simple songs together with friends. Later on, he decided to dive deeper into the world of producing and studied sound design.

By creating his unique sound, he gets inspired by all kinds of different genres, such as Jazz, Bossa Nova and 70s/80s pop music. However, JinSei believes that there is a song in every genre with which he can connect and relate to. Over the years, he accomplishes what other artists are still dreaming of: making a living out of his passion for music. Besides this, he also counts his first million streams on Spotify and building a strong network with other international musicians as one of his biggest successes.

JinSei is not where he wants to be yet and strives even higher. His biggest dream is to be an established and respected artist who is financially strong. In order to reach his dream, his goals are to grow a steady fan base, start selling merchandise and perhaps even run his own label in the future. 

A lot of great tracks are still waiting to be produced by JinSei, and maybe one with his dream collaboration Ian Ewing will be amongst them.
